Peace! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by! I am a multifaceted creative living in Atlanta, Ga. My passion is self expression, and my signature is the safety-pin. Personally, the safety pin is a metaphor for connectivity, and being connected to all the things I do creatively. Feel free to explore my portfolio.
My earliest memory as a creative would be when I was 4 years old as a ballerina. However, as I got older, the love for self expression faded to the background. Family dynamic and frequent uprooting just pushed it out of focus. It wouldn’t be until my first fight in 7th grade, landing me in Ms. Flowers’ detention, where I’d fall back in love with art. I redrew a painting Ms Flowers had hanging over her desk and brought it him to show mom. In disbelief she asked, “You did that?”, and from there, she and I both knew I had unlocked something.
I use many different mediums, such as skin, ink, fabric, film, acrylic, aerosol, oil, chalk, pastels, glitter, charcoal, list goes on! I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

Throughout my works you can find the safety-pin, which plays as a metaphor for connectivity (def. the state or extent of being connected or interconnected). I’ve microbranded the safety pin into my apperal, my art, and even my tattoos! I want Goldie and Safety Pins to be synonymous like Warhol and Campbells Soup
My biggest inspirations have come from the Universe, Life, and Family. As a Cancer, I am ruled by the Moon, so from birth Space was my stage! My grandmother used to take me to the planetarium as a kid, but It would still take me a while to realize I was one of those stars I used to gaze upon in the galaxy.
